Harvest Celebrations

Next Sunday, 12 September, there will be a service of Holy Communion at 8.30am in church, after which coffee will be served in the church hall, followed by our harvest celebration service at 10.15am, and a faith lunch at noon.  Gifts of tinned and packet foods (cereals, pasta, etc) would be appreciated to send to M25 in Doncaster.

Church Heritage Day

Our church will be open on Sunday 12 September from  1.00-4.00pm. Stewards are needed, together with anyone willing to make tea and coffee – please see Barbara Perry (contacts page)

Soul Space

From September, Sprotbrough parish will be starting a very exiting ner venture for local youth, meeting monthley (3rd Sunday).  It is called soul space, with the main aim to provide just that!  In an informal, contemporary setting.  Soul Space will feature music from the house band 'By the Way', modern media, discussion, music and refreshments as well as time to relax together.  Led by youth for youth, a planning group is being set up ready to start in September.  Anyone interested in coming or helping, please contact Therese Paskell on  01302 853587.

Sheffield Diocesan Development Day
