Whirlow Grange
On the evening of July 19th 24 members travelled
to Whirlow Grange Christian centre in Sheffield. On arrival we
were welcomed by Graham Holland and shown into the dining room where we all
enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. Graham then told us about the history of
Whirlow Grange and escorted us round the lovely gardens and a guided tour of
some of the rooms in the conference centre. Afterwards we visited the chapel
where Rev. Philip Roderick gave a beautiful service of music, readings and
prayers. Whirlow is a special place and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
