March
Cathedral Archer Project
Finally Spring has arrived and the days are getting longer.
Our March meeting was well attended and we had an excellent speaker,
Tim Renshaw from the Cathedral Archer Project. We learnt that the
Archer Project based in Sheffield cathedral helps the homeless by
providing breakfasts, lunches and food parcels. They are able to have
showers, access to washing machines and drying facilities. They provide
a great deal of specialist support relating to drugs, alcohol, debt,
benefits etc. They provide a visiting dentist and dispensing nurse as
well as social activities. The work carried out by Tim and his team is
inspiring and we thank God for their dedication and compassion.
Our Deanery Coffee morning is on April 10th, St Mary's Church Hall 10-
12noon. See you there.
Our next meeting is on April 19th when we will have a talk about
Chernobyl Children's Life Line.
Happy Easter
