November 2011

Danielle Lumby talks about Coeliac disease

At our November meeting our speaker Danielle Lumby spoke to us about Coeliac Disease, a condition where gluten causes damage to the start of the small intestine resulting  in nutrients not being absorbed into the system. The condition effects 1 in 100 people with many more undiagnosed. The talk was very interesting and informative and Danielle was an excellent speaker who was happy to answer all our questions.

Our next meeting will be our Christmas Celebrations, when we will enjoy fun, food and fellowship.
