A big thank-you to everyone who helped and
supported our coffee morning in February. It was a lovely morning for
meeting friends and sharing fellowship. We raised the magnificent sum of
£463.00 in aid of A.F.I.A. Well done everyone.
A few days before Christmas we donated many
items of toiletries to Doncaster Women's Aid and at our February meeting
Sophia and Kerry came along to tell us more about their work. they
provide safe temporary accommodation for women and their children
fleeing domestic violence, as well as supporting women who live in an
abusive relationship. They rely entirely on voluntary contributions and
at the moment they are in need of towels, bedding and
nightclothes. Their work is so worthwhile and we aim to support them
with donations in the coming year.
