In 2008 a detailed survey was carried out, to assess the condition of the Church roof. Below are some pictures which will give you an idea of what work is needed to ensure that the roof stays in a serviceable condition. I cannot tell you which parts of the roof the photos relate too, but regular visitors to the Church may recognise some of the locations.

As you can see from the pictures, the roof is letting in water causing problems with the interior beams. The water is also causing issues with the interior stonework, so the roof needs to be replaced. Once work starts I hope to be able to bring you updates to give you an idea of how work is progressing. If you would like to see more details of the work needed there is a small display in St Thomas' chapel in the Church
