We listened to the story of the baptism Jesus by John the Baptist. The children enjoyed using the instruments whilst we sang "He's got the whole world in his hands".

Activities included;  a display of pictures showing varying forms of Baptism, Prayer hands showing things we are thankful for, using water to wash away things we are sorry for, and we made pastry bugs (see pictures) to remind us that John the Baptist lived in the desert and ate locusts and honey.

When we came back together after the activities we listened to an explanation of the Baptism service as it takes place in St Mary's and said a prayer for families and the Grace.
